 | | We have partnered with Russell Education to offer tutoring for campers who need summer academic support with minimal disruption to their camp schedule. Expert, one-on-one instruction in a nurturing atmosphere makes our tutoring program a unique addition to your child’s Beaver experience. Together with Russell Education, parents may design an individualized program that will help develop skills in virtually any area, including reading comprehension, writing, math, handwriting, and/or organization. The program serves children in grades 1-8 who are enrolled in our General Camp program. |
Russell Education provides private, one-on-one tutoring to students at schools in the Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, and the western and southern suburbs. They work with students in grades 1-12 who need assistance in organization and planning, study skills, subject-area tutoring, and standardized test prep. The tutoring staff includes the Director, David Russell, and a current roster of over 50 other tutors. This staff can tutor nearly any subject in grades 1-12:
- Organization
- Study Skills
- English (including particular difficulties with reading and writing)
- History
- Math (including college-level topics)
- Science (physics, chemistry, biology)
- Languages (French, Spanish, Italian, German, Latin, Chinese)
- Test prep (SSAT/ISEE/AP/SAT/ACT/SAT/SAT Subject Tests)
